Ron built the Ray DeTone/Roman
custom guitar with mahogany neck and body,
flamed maple top w. matching headstock and
Brazilian rosewood fingerboard from scratch.
The guitar is also fitted with Joe Barden pickups,
LSR tuners, a HipShot tremolo w. Tremsetter,
Ray's personal electronics and is setup
with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System.
It's a beauty!!!

CUSTOM GUITAR 7/06
...now a twangler monster!
Ray added Kinman single coils and a Suhr HB pickup
while Dennis MacPherson routed for the LP toggle switch to,
go w. Ray's custom electronics. Flamed maple pickup covers, truss rod cover and pickup ring were also added.
The final aesthetic touch was added by Roger of THG knobs
who machined the tuner buttons, and toggle switch knobs
from a beautiful maple burl! The guitar was then ripped apart
again cutting and reshaping the lower horn, stripping the poly finish
off and doing a hand-rubbed tung oil finish.
Graphtech saddles were added in '10
to smooth out the attack and add sustain. - see below
